Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle Show Closing for Extended Refurbishment

Hey Universal park fans! This week it was announced that The Nighttime Lights at Hogwarts Castle at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade in Universal’s Islands of Adventure will close for an unknown extended period of time for “future show enhancements.” Its last performance, for the time being, will be May 9, 2023. The show features magical projections on Hogwarts Castle, accompanied by music, lighting, and fireworks. This show happens on select nights beginning at dusk and runs approximately every twenty minutes at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade.

Rumors are this show will be re-imagined to include show light drones to create even more magic to this Wizarding World nighttime celebration! As always, we hope this information will help bring a little extra magic to your stay.
