Hey Universal park fans, boy do we have some epic new to bring you all. If you have been follow us for a while, you know how excited we are about Universal Orlando’s newest park, Epic Universe! While we await the exact date of Universal’s Epic Universe’s grand opening, it is anticipated to open by Summer 2025. Universal Orlando released a lot of information today, and were very excited to share, let get started!

Where will the Park be Located

Let's kick off with the thrilling heart of Universal Orlando – Epic Universe! Nestled just 15 minutes away from the beloved Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, and the vibrant CityWalk, Epic Universe stands tall as the vibrant gateway to the south campus adventure. Sandwiched between the north and south campuses lies a charming 64-acre haven, home to the Endless Summer Resort hotel complex.

To help you understand the size of this expansion, the north campus spans a sprawling 735 acres, while its newly acquired counterpart to the south boasts a whopping 750 acres (and counting!). Universal hasn't spilled all the beans just yet, but what they've unveiled is truly epic. They've even gone the extra mile, revamping the main road leading to Epic Universe with a sleek center median, set to be a stylish runway for a fleet of eco-friendly electric buses. Talk about arriving in style!

The Portals

Prepare to be transported like never before! Epic Universe is breaking boundaries with its unique approach to themed lands. Drawing from beloved franchises like The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Nintendo, How to Train Your Dragon, and Universal Monsters, guests will find themselves fully immersed in the stories they cherish. As you step into each of the four distinct lands, you're not just entering an area – you're diving headfirst into an entirely new world. It's like stepping through a portal into a realm of unparalleled immersion and wonder. From the sights and sounds to the smallest details, every inch of these themed areas is designed to whisk you away from reality and plunge you into an adventure of epic proportions.

First up, prepare to be spellbound as you enter The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic. Delve into the enchanting 1920s Paris from the Fantastic Beasts films and explore the depths of the British Ministry of Magic from the Harry Potter series. It's a magical journey like no other, where every corner holds a new adventure waiting to be discovered.

Next, get ready to level up in SUPER NINTENDO WORLD! Step through warp pipes and dive headfirst into the vibrant, action-packed world of Nintendo's iconic video games. Already captivating audiences in Japan and Hollywood, this immersive experience promises thrills beyond your wildest dreams.

Then, soar into the skies above the Isle of Berk in How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk. Vikings and dragons coexist in this breathtaking world, where the spirit of adventure is as fierce as the dragons themselves. In the mysterious realm of Dark Universe, Universal Monsters come to life in ways you've never imagined. From the chilling experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the haunting tales of gothic lore, Dark Universe invites you to explore the darker side of fantasy in an immersive, multi-faceted experience.

The New Hotels

Universal Orlando Resort announced the name of the in-park hotel: Universal Helios Grand Hotel. Introducing the epitome of luxury and splendor: the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, will be nestled at the opposite end of Epic Universe and boasting its own dedicated entrance. Named after the illustrious Greek god of the sun, Helios, this divine retreat promises a celestial experience like no other. With breathtaking views of the park, guests will bask in the brilliance of their surroundings, immersing themselves in the magic of Universal Orlando.

Scheduled to open its doors in 2025, the Universal Helios Grand Hotel will offer 500 exquisitely appointed guest rooms, each designed to provide the utmost comfort and sophistication. Stay tuned for more details and booking windows as this extraordinary destination prepares to dazzle and delight visitors from around the globe.

But wait, there's more magic on the horizon! Universal Orlando Resort has two more new resort coming with the launch of Epic Universe, the Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort. Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort are upcoming celestial-themed resorts located near Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort. Their celestial theme suggests an immersive experience that transports guests into a world of wonder and magic inspired by the cosmos.

The name "Stella Nova" suggests a focus on stars and new beginnings, hinting at a celestial ambiance that could include starry décor, cosmic-inspired amenities, and possibly even stargazing experiences. "Terra Luna," on the other hand, suggests a focus on Earth and the moon, which could translate into an atmosphere of lunar mystique, perhaps with lunar-themed activities, lunar landscapes, or otherworldly settings. Universal Stella Nova Resort opens January 21, 2025 and Universal Terra Luna Resort opens on February 25, 2025.
