Universal Orlando’s Epic Universe Opening Date Announced

We have some VERY exciting news to share with you all! The wait is finally over, Universal Orlando Resort has officially announced the opening date for the newest park Epic Universe. Universal Epic Universe is a theme park currently under construction in Orlando, Florida, developed by Universal Parks & Resorts. It aims to be a massive expansion of Universal's offerings, featuring attractions based on popular franchises from Universal's vast library, including films from Illumination, DreamWorks, and classic Universal properties. The park is expected to include immersive lands, rides, and experiences that engage guests in ways similar to the other Universal parks, such as Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure.
Epic Universe is anticipated to enhance Universal's competitive position in the Orlando market, providing new attractions and experiences that cater to families and thrill-seekers alike. The project represents a significant investment in the future of theme park entertainment. And now we can confirm that Epic Universe will set to open May 22, 2025!
When Will Tickets Go on Sale?

Next week, guests will have the opportunity to start planning an unforgettable 2025 vacation at Universal Orlando, as the first phase of ticket products and packages that include access to Universal Epic Universe goes on sale.
Beginning Tuesday, October 22, you can purchase:
Multi-Day Tickets and Vacation Packages: Enjoy three, four, or five-day admissions to Universal’s theme parks, including one day at the exciting new Epic Universe.
Reservations for Universal Helios Grand Hotel: Also opening on October 22, reservations for this new hotel will be available for stays starting May 22, 2025.

Where is Epic Universal Located?
Epic Universe will be located south of the Universal Orlando Resort parks at 1001 Epic Blvd, Orlando, FL 32819. Complimentary shuttle buses will connect Epic Universe with Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, CityWalk, and Universal hotels. For Guest not familiar with Orlando theme parks, it’s important to note that Epic Universe is apart of Universal Orlando Resort and has no affiliation to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel
Why visit a park, when you can stay in the park?! Nestled just outside Celestial Park, this hotel offers a unique entrance to the park (theme park ticket required). With its Mediterranean-inspired design, the Helios Grand features a zero-entry pool with underwater speakers, a cozy fire pit area, and movie nights by the pool. For stunning views of Epic Universe, head to Bar Helios, the rooftop bar with an outdoor seating area. Reservations will open on October 22.
Universal Stella Nova Resort
Set to open on January 21, 2025, this resort draws inspiration from the stars and galaxies, showcasing stunning cosmic imagery throughout. Guests can enjoy a fantastic swimming pool, a poolside bar and grill, and various dining options, along with a walking path to Epic Universe.
Universal Terra Luna Resort
Scheduled to open in early 2025, this resort takes cues from the planets. In the lobby, a giant interactive planet projection awaits guests, setting the stage for the adventures in Epic Universe. Like Stella Nova, Terra Luna features a lovely pool, a poolside bar and grill, and a range of dining choices.
