Reopening DATE for ‘Indiana Jones’ Stunt Show
We have slowly seen entertainment and shows return to WDW. Recently announced fan-favorite Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular will be returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The popular stunt show has been closed since the park reopened, but will begin performances again for guests on December 19th, 2021.
Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is an amusement show is based on "Raiders of the Lost Ark", the first film in the Indiana Jones franchise. It has various stunts, and recruits members of the audience to partake in it. It is executive-produced by George Lucas and directed by Jerry Rees, with stunt coordination by Glenn Randall. As part of it, volunteers are selected and invited to participate in the scenes.
WDW stated that the show will be “bring back all the comedy and thrills of the action-packed show”. There has been no mention of the show being modified for social distancing or COVID safety measure. So far, we’ve seen modified versions of many shows that have returned, including Beauty and the Beast — Live on Stage and Festival of the Lion King.
