Upcoming Changes to the Genie+ System
Exciting news, Disney park fans! Walt Disney World has just announced significant changes to the Genie+ system, and they are set to take effect later this month, bringing a new level of flexibility and options to each park. Here's everything we know so far:
Starting June 27, Walt Disney World will introduce Park-specific Genie+. This means that guests visiting WDW will have the option to choose between a single-park or multiple-park Genie+ option. If you opt for the multiple-park option and have a valid Park Hopper ticket, the system will work just as it does currently for Genie+. However, with the upcoming changes, the prices will vary based on the date and the specific park you enter and choose to utilize the system.
This update brings a new level of customization to the Disney experience, as the offerings and pricing will differ from one park to another, depending on your Genie reservation. To give you an idea of what to expect, we have a sample breakdown of the pricing once the changes are implemented into the paid system:
Multiple Parks: $27 per person
Magic Kingdom: $27 per person
Hollywood Studios: $24 per person
EPCOT: $18 per person
Animal Kingdom: $16 per person
Please note that these prices are mock examples and are subject to change. The actual prices may vary based on the specific dates and park availability.
